Terms of Use

Last updated:

Welcome to linqo — the link between you and your clients. These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the platform. By creating an account, accepting an invitation or using the service, you declare that you have read, understood and agree to the conditions below. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1. Who we are and who these Terms apply to

linqo is operated by VITOR DO PRADO FERREIRA LTDA, registered in Brazil under tax ID (CNPJ) No. 43.115.280/0001-96, headquartered at Piraju/SP ("linqo", "we") from Brazil, and serves businesses in Brazil and in other countries. You can reach us at support@uselinqo.com.

These Terms are the contract between linqo and those who use the platform. They apply, each in the part that concerns them, to three groups:

  • Business: the establishment or independent professional that creates the account and subscribes to the service. It is the account holder.
  • Account users: the administrator, who creates and manages the account on behalf of the business, and the professionals the administrator invites.
  • End clients: the people who book with the business, use the client portal or take part in a video session. The section "For those who book with a business" applies to them.

The Privacy Policy, the Video Session Terms and, for those who use the API, the documentation published at uselinqo.com/developers are part of these Terms. In case of conflict, the rule most specific to the subject prevails.

To create an account you must be at least 18 years old and have full legal capacity. Whoever creates the account on behalf of a legal entity declares that they have the authority to represent it and bind it to these Terms.

2. Scope of the service

linqo is a scheduling management platform for businesses and independent professionals. It offers a calendar, records for clients, services and professionals, a public booking page, automatic confirmations and reminders, a rescheduling portal for the end client, and payment tracking. Depending on the availability of each feature in the account, it also offers virtual sessions, a public API and connection to artificial intelligence agents.

The service is provided as is and evolves continuously. Features may be added, changed or discontinued; material changes are communicated to active users with reasonable notice.

To avoid misunderstandings, it is worth saying what linqo is not:

  • It is not a party to the relationship between the business and its clients. The booked service is provided by the business, at its own account and risk.
  • It is not a marketplace, an agency or a payment intermediary: it does not sell, recommend or get paid for the services of the business. Payment tracking is a record kept by the business itself.
  • It is not an electronic health record, a health information system or a diagnostic tool, and it does not replace the records required by the profession of the business.
  • It does not provide health, legal, financial or any other regulated professional service, and it is not a channel for urgent or emergency care.

Features identified as beta, preview or test are offered for evaluation, may change or be removed without notice, and should not support critical operations.

3. Account, access and credentials

Creating an account requires truthful information and a valid email address under the control of the person responsible for the business. This first user is the account administrator and is responsible for the access they create.

When inviting a professional, the administrator generates their own access with a temporary password, sent directly to the email provided. Changing this password is mandatory on first sign-in.

Each user is responsible for keeping their own credentials confidential and is accountable for the actions taken with them. Suspected unauthorized access must be reported to support immediately.

Registration information must be kept up to date, especially the administrator’s email: it is where we send notices about the account, billing and changes to these Terms.

The administrator is responsible for the users they invite and for what they do in the account, and must remove the access of anyone who leaves the team. Each access is personal and may not be shared.

We may refuse or cancel registrations with false data, created to circumvent the free period or the limits of a plan, or that repeat an account already terminated for violating these Terms.

4. Responsibilities of those who use the platform

The account holder is the controller of the data they register and is responsible for the relationship with their own clients, including:

  • The accuracy of the business, service, price and availability information published on the booking page.
  • The legal basis for processing the data of clients they register or who book through the public page, under the terms of the LGPD.
  • Compliance with the cancellation and rescheduling policy that the account itself configures.
  • The legality of the services offered and adherence to the rules of the sector in which they operate.
  • The licenses, permits, professional registrations and insurance required for the activity they carry out.
  • The taxes, invoices, and labor and social security obligations related to the services they provide and the team they maintain.
  • The content they publish — text, logo, photos and links —, ensuring they have the right to use it, including the image of the people shown.
  • The acts of the professionals and other people to whom they give access to the account.
  • What they record in free-text fields, such as notes and tags. linqo does not ask for sensitive data in any field, but it may be used by clinics and other health professionals: if the business records health information or other sensitive data there, it is responsible for the need, the legal basis and the safeguards its profession requires for that record.

It is prohibited to use the platform for unlawful activity, for sending unsolicited bulk communications, for attempting to access another account’s data, or for any use that compromises the integrity and availability of the service.

It is also not permitted to:

  • Copy, resell, sublicense or offer the platform to third parties as if it were your own.
  • Reverse engineer, extract data by automated means outside the public API, or circumvent technical limits, quotas and access controls.
  • Send viruses or malicious code, or test the security of the platform without written authorization.
  • Publish or transmit content that is unlawful, discriminatory, misleading, that violates the rights of third parties or that exposes children and adolescents.
  • Impersonate another person or business.
  • Insult, threaten or harass the linqo team or other users.

To report unlawful content published by a business on the platform, write to support@uselinqo.com. We review every report and may remove the content or suspend the page.

5. The relationship between the business and its clients

The contract for the booked service exists only between the business and the end client. linqo provides the technology that organizes that meeting and takes no part in it.

For that reason, the following are solely up to the business:

  • The quality, safety and outcome of the service provided.
  • Prices, packages, payment methods, billing, refunds and tax documents.
  • The cancellation, rescheduling, lateness and no-show policy, and its enforcement.
  • Handling complaints, requests and rights of the end client, including those provided for in the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code.

linqo does not guarantee that the end client will show up, pay or confirm the booking, nor that the business or the professional will deliver the service as agreed. Any complaint we receive about a service of the business will be forwarded to it.

6. Notifications and messages

Confirmations, reminders and notices of rescheduling or cancellation are sent on behalf of the business, by email and, when the channel is available, by WhatsApp. They are sent from linqo’s own sender address and phone number, shared among the businesses that use the platform.

By using this feature, the business represents and warrants that:

  • The phone numbers and email addresses registered were provided by the client or lawfully obtained, and are correct.
  • The client was informed and agreed to receive the booking messages through these channels, whenever the law or the policy of the channel requires it.
  • It will promptly honor the request of any client who asks not to be notified anymore.

These channels are transactional: they serve the booking, not advertising. The content follows templates defined by linqo and, on WhatsApp, approved by Meta. Messages the business sends from its own number, using shortcuts in the dashboard, are its sole responsibility.

Delivery depends on third parties — carriers, email providers, WhatsApp and Meta — and on the client having the channel active. We do not guarantee that every message will be delivered or read, and a missing message does not change the booking.

We may limit, pause or block the messages of an account that generates complaints, reports or blocks above normal levels, or whose use puts at risk the reputation of the shared number and sender.

Messages consume the plan quotas, as set out in the section "Plans, prices and payments".

7. Virtual and video sessions

The business may offer services in virtual mode. Depending on the availability of the feature in the account, the session takes place in a linqo video room or through a link to an external tool provided by the professional.

In both cases, the session belongs to the professional and the business, who are fully responsible for it; linqo provides only the technical means. The complete rules — responsibilities of the professional, rules for the client, recording, emergencies and limits — are in the Video Session Terms, which are part of this document.

By offering or holding a virtual session through linqo, the business and the professional declare that they have read and accepted those Terms.

8. Data and privacy

The processing of personal data complies with the General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13,709/2018) and is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.

The data registered by a business is isolated by account: no other customer of the platform has access to it.

In short: linqo is the controller of the data of the business and of the account users, and the processor of the data of end clients, which it processes on behalf of the business.

9. Processing data on behalf of the business

When it processes end client data, linqo acts as the processor and the business as the controller, under the terms of the LGPD. This section serves as the data processing agreement between the parties.

linqo undertakes to:

  • Process this data only to provide the service and according to the instructions of the business — which are the settings and commands it gives on the platform and through the API.
  • Maintain technical and organizational security measures commensurate with the risk, and require confidentiality from those who have access to the data.
  • Engage sub-processors (infrastructure, email, messaging and similar) only under equivalent protection obligations. Those in use are listed in the Privacy Policy; by accepting these Terms, the business authorizes this engagement.
  • Notify the business, within 48 hours of becoming aware of it, of any security incident that may cause relevant risk or harm to data subjects, with the information available to it, and supplement that information as the investigation progresses.
  • Support the business, within reason, in responding to requests from data subjects and authorities.
  • Delete the data at the end of the contract, as set out in the section "Suspension and account termination", except for what the law requires to be kept.

The business, in turn:

  • Is responsible for the legal basis of each processing activity, for transparency toward data subjects and for honoring their rights.
  • Registers only the data necessary for its activity, and is solely responsible for any sensitive data, health data or data of children and adolescents it decides to record.
  • Decides who gets access — users, API keys, connected applications — and is responsible for that access.
  • Notifies data subjects and the National Data Protection Authority of the incidents the law requires to be reported, as the controller.

Part of the processing takes place outside Brazil, where the infrastructure providers are located. The business authorizes this transfer, carried out with the safeguards described in the Privacy Policy.

10. API, integrations and artificial intelligence agents

The platform offers a public API so that a business can connect linqo to its own or third-party systems, including artificial intelligence assistants and agents connected through the MCP protocol. Use of the API is governed by these Terms and by the documentation published at uselinqo.com/developers.

  • API keys are issued by the account administrator, who chooses the scopes of each key and is responsible for all access made with them, in the same way as for the credentials of users.
  • The key is confidential. If it leaks or misuse is suspected, it must be revoked immediately and the matter reported to support. Revocation may take up to 60 seconds to take effect.
  • The per-minute request limits and the monthly quotas are set by the platform according to the plan, may change and are listed in the API documentation.
  • We may suspend a key whose use compromises the stability of the service or violates these Terms, with notice whenever possible.
  • The business is responsible for the systems it connects and for how they process the data obtained through the API.
  • Changes that break existing integrations are announced in advance and, whenever possible, published as a new version of the API, keeping the current version running.
  • Applications connected by authorization (OAuth) receive only the permissions the administrator approves on the consent screen. An application that registers itself is not verified by linqo: approve only a connection you started yourself.
  • An artificial intelligence agent connected to the account acts on behalf of the business. Whatever it reads, creates, reschedules or cancels counts as an act of the business, and linqo is not liable for errors, omissions or incorrect answers of the model or of the application that operates it.
  • It is prohibited to use the API to resell access to the platform, build a competing service or extract data beyond what the business’s own integration needs.

11. Plans, prices and payments

The platform offers a free trial period, with no credit card required, for the duration and with the limits stated at sign-up. After that period, continued use depends on subscribing to a paid plan.

If the free period ends without a subscription, the account is blocked: the dashboard, the booking page, the API and the notifications stop — including reminders for bookings already made. It is up to the business to notify its own clients.

Paid plans are billed monthly and include monthly quotas of email and WhatsApp notifications and of API usage. Usage above the plan quota is charged as overage, on the following invoice, according to the rates disclosed at the time of subscription. The billing cycle, payment method and cancellation rules are presented clearly at the time of subscription and remain available in the account settings.

  • The subscription renews automatically each cycle until it is canceled.
  • The currency and prices are those of the market of the business, fixed at subscription. Applicable taxes may be added, according to the law of each country.
  • We may adjust prices, quotas and overage rates with at least 30 days’ notice. Anyone who does not agree may cancel before the change takes effect.
  • Payment is processed by a specialized provider. A payment that is declined, reversed or disputed without grounds may lead to suspension of the account, after notice.
  • Overdue amounts may be subject to a 2% late fee, interest of 1% per month and inflation adjustment.

The business may cancel the plan at any time through the dashboard, with no penalty and no lock-in. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the cycle already paid: there is no pro rata refund for the current period, and overage already consumed remains due.

Anyone who subscribes as a consumer, over the internet, may withdraw from the subscription within 7 days of subscribing, with a full refund of what was paid, under article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code. To withdraw, delete the account in the dashboard, under Settings > Business, or ask by email at support@uselinqo.com.

Canceling a paid plan does not delete the account data, which is preserved for the period set out in the section "Suspension and account termination"; however, access to features and the sending of notifications are suspended until a new plan is subscribed.

linqo does not charge commission on the services of the business and takes no part in what the end client pays to it.

12. Intellectual property and license

The platform — software, interfaces, brand, text, message templates and documentation — belongs to linqo or its licensors, and is protected by software and copyright law. These Terms transfer none of those rights.

While the account is active and in good standing, we grant the business a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the platform in its own activity.

The data and content the business enters remain its own. The business authorizes us to host, process and display them to the extent necessary to provide the service — for example, showing the logo on the booking page and the business name in messages to clients.

We may use statistical and aggregated information about the use of the platform, which identifies neither people nor businesses, to improve the product. Suggestions and comments sent to linqo may be used freely, with no obligation of compensation.

13. Availability and support

We work to keep the service continuously available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation: scheduled maintenance, failures of third parties we depend on (infrastructure, email, messaging) and events beyond our control may cause downtime.

Support is provided through the channels listed on the platform, in Portuguese, on business days.

We keep backups to recover the service in case of disaster, not to restore, on request, records deleted or changed by the business itself. We recommend that the business keep a copy of whatever is essential to it.

14. Warranties and limits of liability

linqo undertakes to provide the service diligently and to fix, within a reasonable time, the failures reported to it. We do not promise results: the figures on the site, in the calculator and in the dashboard — such as fewer no-shows or returning clients — are estimates and depend on factors we do not control.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, linqo is not liable for:

  • Services, products, acts and omissions of the business, the professionals and the end clients, including no-shows, lateness, cancellations and charges between them.
  • Failures, unavailability or rule changes of third parties the service depends on: carriers, internet, email and cloud providers, WhatsApp and Meta, payment methods and external video call tools.
  • Misuse of credentials, API keys and connected applications, until it is reported to us, and acts of systems or artificial intelligence agents the business connects.
  • Content and data entered by the business, and data loss caused by its own action — such as deleting the account or a record.
  • Lost profits, loss of revenue, clients or opportunity, and indirect damages of any kind.
  • Criminal acts by third parties that adequate security measures could not have prevented.
  • Acts of God and force majeure.

Where there is a duty to compensate, linqo’s total liability to the business is limited to the amount the business actually paid to linqo in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim — or, if greater, to one monthly fee of the lowest-priced paid plan then in force.

These limits do not apply to willful misconduct or gross negligence by linqo, and they do not exclude rights the law does not allow to be limited — in particular those of consumers and of personal data subjects.

The business acknowledges that linqo’s prices reflect this allocation of risk.

15. Indemnification

The business undertakes to hold linqo harmless and reimburse it — including judgments, reasonable settlements, court costs and attorneys’ fees — for third-party claims, lawsuits and fines arising from:

  • Services provided or not provided by the business and its professionals, in any mode.
  • Content published, data registered and messages sent through the account.
  • Processing of personal data without a legal basis or in breach of the LGPD.
  • Violation of these Terms, of the law or of a third party’s rights.
  • Tax, labor and social security obligations of the business and its team.

If linqo is sued over a matter for which the business is responsible, it will notify the business, which must take over the defense and the costs. linqo may join the business to the proceedings or exercise its right of recourse against it.

16. Suspension and account termination

The holder may delete the account at any time through the platform settings. Deletion is permanent and removes the data of the business, the professionals, the clients and the associated bookings. It cannot be undone: save whatever you need beforehand.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice, except where the severity of the violation requires immediate action.

We may also suspend, in whole or in part, an account:

  • With overdue payment, after notice.
  • Whose use threatens the security, stability or reputation of the platform or of other accounts.
  • By order of a competent authority or legal requirement.
  • With signs of fraud or of use by an unauthorized third party, until the matter is clarified.

Suspension or termination for breach does not, in itself, give rise to a right to a refund or compensation.

Blocked accounts or accounts without an active plan have their data preserved for 12 months. After that, we may delete them, with notice to the administrator’s email at least 30 days in advance.

linqo may terminate the contract without cause, with 30 days’ notice and a pro rata refund of whatever has already been paid for the unused period.

The clauses that by their nature must survive remain in force after termination: amounts due, intellectual property, limits of liability, indemnification and venue. Some records are kept after deletion, for the period and purposes described in the Privacy Policy.

17. For those who book with a business

If you are a client of a business that uses linqo, these rules apply to you when you book through a booking page, use the client portal, confirm a booking by link or enter a video room:

  • The service is contracted with the business, and the business is responsible for providing it. Questions, cancellations, rescheduling, refunds and complaints must be handled with the business, according to the policy it sets.
  • Provide information that is true and your own. By booking, you agree to receive, on behalf of the business, the messages for that booking — confirmation, reminder, rescheduling and cancellation — by WhatsApp and by email. To stop receiving them, talk to the business or to our support.
  • Confirmation links and portal access codes are personal. Whoever has the link or the code can view and change the booking.
  • People under 18 must book through a parent or guardian, or with their authorization.
  • Your data is processed by the business where you booked, as the controller, and by linqo on its behalf, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Video sessions have their own rules, presented before you enter the room.

18. Communications and electronic acceptance

Communications between the parties are made electronically: through the platform, the registered email and the support channels. Notices sent to the administrator’s email are deemed received.

Accepting these Terms by clicking, checking a box or using the service has the validity of a signature. We may record the date, time, IP address and version of the document accepted, and that record serves as proof of the contract.

19. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated at any time. Material changes are communicated to active users through the platform itself or by email, at least 15 days in advance, and the last-updated date at the top of this page is always the one in force. A change required by law, by an authority or for security reasons may take effect immediately.

Continued use of the service after such communication constitutes agreement with the updated version. Anyone who does not agree may cancel the plan and delete the account before the new version takes effect.

20. General provisions

  • Independence: these Terms do not create a partnership, agency, franchise or employment relationship between linqo and the business, its professionals or its clients.
  • Assignment: the business may not assign the account or this contract without our consent. linqo may assign it in the event of a corporate reorganization or sale of the business, keeping the conditions set out here.
  • No waiver: failing to demand compliance with a clause does not mean waiving it.
  • Severability: if a clause is held invalid, the others remain in force.
  • Language: these Terms are written in Portuguese. Translations are offered for convenience and, in case of divergence, the Portuguese version prevails.
  • Entire agreement: these Terms and the documents that are part of them replace earlier understandings on the same subject.

21. Venue and applicable law

These Terms are governed by Brazilian law, including when the business is located outside Brazil, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection and data protection rules of the user’s country. Before going to court, the parties undertake to seek an amicable solution through support.

The courts of the judicial district of Piraju/SP, Brazil, where linqo is headquartered, are elected to settle disputes arising from this document. When the user is a consumer, the venue of the user’s domicile applies.
